It's Pink-A-Licious!

Today is the last day that Pink-A-Licious will spend with me...tomorrow she is headed to her new home.  She had an action packed day...check out her party pics!

This evening, she came to the awesome KC MQG meeting with me for some Show-And-Tell.  She almost didn't make it...she had some issues to deal with, getting ready and all.  Such as this oddly pieced binding strip...I've never done that before!

I'm all about full disclosure...while attempting to piece my binding,  I sewed the right side to wrong side...and there was a third screw up that I've since put out of my mind.  All of this before I even sewed the binding to the quilt.  Good grief!  It's all behind us now, and she's ready to go out into the big wide world.  Happily, she's not going far...just across the street to a sweet little girl.  Perhaps I'll ask for visitation rights?

One last thing...should I be worried that I am calling Pink-A-Licious a "she"?  "It" just seems so wrong!
