Woo Hoo!

So...check out the Pink Chalk Fabrics blog.  I won a copy of Block Party - The Modern Quilting Bee!  Woo Hoo!!!  Thank you Pink Chalk and thank you to Stash Books!

I'm so excited that I won this book - it's been on my "must buy" list ever since Alissa Haight-Carlton spoke at the January meeting of the KC MQG.  If you ever have the chance to hear Alissa speak, you don't want to miss out.  And her quilts are pretty nice too!  :-)


As hard as it is to believe, I have even MORE AWESOME news than winning a book.  Last week I finished up my all-consuming, stress-inducing, sleep-depriving, uber-important (from a corporate standpoint) project...two days early!!!  That's worth another Woo Hoo!!!  I promptly celebrated by finishing up this little hexie pillow...just in time to add some patriotic flair to my front porch chair!

I have won the first battle in my personal War on WIPs!  But I'll write more about that next time...
