It Was A Busy Week

My daughter and her dog stayed with us from Tuesday through Friday thanks to some apartment plumbing problems.  Marlie did a great job keeping me company through the work day.  She melts my heart...she's such a sweetie!

I got some really good stuff in the mail...

I made my July KC Scrappy Bee Block and I pulled fabric scraps for McIntyre Girl's Garden Fence Quilt Along:

and I joined the For the Love of Solids [a modern swap] swap on Flickr...with many of my KC MQG friends.

And one more thing...have you seen the new Modern Block of the Month at Sew Mama Sew?  I'm in on that action too.  Next step is some quality time with my Kona Color Card!

I'm thinking that I'll let my WIPs win the war for now.  I'd rather look forward to having fun with my new-found projects!
