Score!

Are you into solids?  Do you dream about color cards???

Check out what I recently scored...that's right...it's a MODA BELLA SOLID COLOR CARD!

My friends Caitlin and Nikki have been telling me about one of their favorite on-line fabric sources, Pink Castle Fabrics. My timing was spot-on because I just happened to place my order while they were in stock.  I didn't want to tease you all, so I checked with Brenda, proprietor of PCF, to make sure she has some in stock.  Rest assured, they are on order...they list for $25 and the shipping was ~ $6. The card is big...about 20 inches tall by 16 wide I'd say, so they do not fit in a standard shipping box.  If you're one of the many who are searching for a Moda color card, check in with Brenda.

I also treated myself to 12 FQs of Moda Crossweaves and a 1/2 yard bundle of Dazzle Basketweaves.  I have heard the raves about the Moda Crossweaves and now that I have some in my stash, I TOTALLY GET IT.  These fabrics are so lovely!

So...that was my little shopping spree at Pink Castle Fabrics.  Unfortunately, I didn't stop there...

Missouri Star Quilt Company got me with the Quilter's Daily Deal...a Hometown Jelly Roll for $25!  I took the opportunity to buy a yard each of Moda Yellow, Stone and Gray...I wanted to get the most for my flat-rate shipping...wink, wink!

fabric.com hooked me with their recent sale...$4.23 a yard for Kona Cotton Solids...free shipping over $35!

Sand, butterscotch, amber, honey, mocha, moss, eggplant and glacier...oh my!

Now that my shopping is all done...I'd better get back to sewing!  I'm quilting along with McIntyre Girl's Garden Fence QA. I've used almost all scrap fabrics for this quilt in greens, blues, teals and aquas. I've paired all the pieces and they are spread all over my ironing board and cutting table.  I'm going to head upstairs and start sewing these blocks together - see ya'!
