Last night I finished Block #5 of the Mod Mosaic Scrap Bee on Flickr, so now I "bee" done with that. I hate to be negative, but I didn't really love the piecing process...although I do really like the blocks. Now...if I am going to play by the rules, I have to send my babies off and wait to see what comes my way in exchange. I'll be sure to share when they get here.
Here are Blocks 3 through 5:
I'm afraid some of the narrow pieces on the edge of the blocks are going to get lost when they're pieced together. Oops! The middle one is my favorite of all three...I didn't intend to limit my colors, but it turned out to be pink, green and cream.
March seems to be the month for DEADLINES! The first one is March 10th - I MUST FINISH my Robert Kaufman NO PRINTS ALLOWED challenge for the KCMQG. My quilt is basted, my machine is cleaned and threaded, test quilting is done and I am ready to go.
So, my quilty friends, the deadline is looming and I must get back to my machine!
Until next time...
Mary Anne
Your bee blocks look great ....maybe a little tedious to piece? Hope you get some nice ones in return. Can't wait to see everyones solid quilts.
