Unsewing...a not-so-much-fun part of the process

Several weeks ago, I finished this quilt top which will be a baby gift for a friend.

The more I looked at it, the more off-balance it seemed to me.  Hmmmm... time to get out the seam ripper...

Take the thing apart...

and put it back together again.

Much better!  I like the balanced prints and the solid yellow next to the striped fabric.

Now I am right back where I was two days ago...but I'm OK with that.
